Canon introduces their T2i DSLR camera at the top of their Rebel line
www.usa.canon.com
Canon has just announced a new addition to their Rebel line of DSLR cameras, the T2i. Taking some cues from its big brother the 7D, the T2i has a similar sensor but with 4channel readout instead of 8. You will also have some of the advanced features that are on the 7D such as, 9-point autofocus, a 63-zone dual-layering metering system like the 7D, a 3-inch live-view smudge-resistant viewfinder, ISO of 100- 6400, and 1080p video at 24, 25, or 30 frames per second with an external mic input.
As an amateur just getting into photography, I am keeping an eye on entry level DSLR cameras for future purchase, and getting this many features on a DSLR for under $1000 is great. This camera may be at the top of my list for now. Retail is set at $899.99 and no release date is available yet.
