Father of the father of the internet?

September 26, 1924: Jean Hornei is born in Switzerland. Not realizing how profound an effect on the world he would have. The inverter of the planer process, allowing the creation of transistors in a single block of silicon. Simple logic chips have several transistors, CPU chips have several million transistors.

Without the invention of this process many of our technological marvels would not be here.
