Make Firefox burn up the interpipewebnet

I found some changes to the Firefox configuration that may speed up your web experience by double. The details are listed at Techradar.com . I found them via DL.TV episode 253. The pipelineing and content changes help significantly.

Remember that the changes you are about to make are your own responsability, if you don’t know or understand then don’t make the change.

In the address bar typr about:config and, afer reading, ok the warning.

Scroll down to network.http.pipelining and double click on it. Then go to network.http.proxy.pipelining and double click there, enabling these two settings. Go to network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and double click, change the 4 to 8. This allows 8 concurrent reqeusts.

You will find more settings to change at Techradar.com but I think these are the ones with the most impact.

Give it a try, let me know!
