Y19.89k bug found!

September 19, 1989: A rediscovery is more like it. A Washingto D.C. hopital had a computer crash after the time system failed to understand the change of days. The system had been primed with the datge January 1, 1900 and 32,768 days later on 9-19-1989 the timer buffer was overrun. The creators of the system felt that the computer would surly be replace before the timer ran out. Alas, they did not understand goverment managment, if it runs don’t replace it.

As you recall the Y2k problem had to do with databases with only two digits for the year, and some pc’s that had clocks that the start point ws too far in the past.
